Gautam Mazumdar
Gautam Mazumdar is the painter, artist and thinker behind Cave to Canvas. His practice explores ancient motifs, mark-making and memory. For this exhibition he has created 24 paintings inspired by cave paintings, petroglyphs, carvings and engravings found across the world — translating primal marks into layered, contemporary canvases.
