About the Exhibition
“Cave to Canvas” is a conceptual exhibition where I explore the journey of human artistic expression—from prehistoric cave paintings to contemporary visual storytelling.
The inspiration for this series came from ancient cave art traditions found across the world, including the rock shelters of Bhimbetka in India. These early paintings represent the first attempts of humans to communicate stories, rituals, and beliefs through visual symbols.
Through this exhibition, I reinterpret those primitive forms and symbols using contemporary artistic language. The artworks combine textures, symbolic imagery, and layered compositions to create a bridge between the ancient past and modern artistic expression.

In this exhibition, I draw inspiration from prehistoric cave art traditions—symbols, primitive figures, and storytelling forms that represent the origins of human creativity. The artworks reinterpret ancient visual narratives through modern textures, compositions, and colour palettes.
